Inki and her family have been Escondido residents for the past 36 years. Inki is an immigrant from South Korea, became a U.S. citizen in 1974, has actively been participating in the U.S. political democratic process since 1975 in Sacramento, and moved to San Diego in 1976. Inki has been married for 39 years with three grown children and three grandchildren. Inki and her family have been Escondido residents since 1986. Inki’s experience working in both the private and public sectors uniquely qualifies her for the Escondido Mayor.

Significant Accomplishments in the Private Sector:

Providing due diligence in $1 billion merger and acquisition
Reducing loan exposures by $41 million through strategic management of problem credits and bankrupt accounts.
Working with retail captive finance companies, mortgage bankers, and consumer finance companies to help increase in operating efficiency to avoid bankruptcies.
Maintaining and managing commercial loan portfolios of mid-sized companies with working capital lines ranging from $5 million to $120 million.
Creating financial projections and assisting in strategic plans, and financial models for monthly and annual forecasts of corporate financial assets of $1.3 billion.
Supervising corporate daily cash management activities (with personal daily cash authority of $32 million, a monthly average of $640 million) and coordinating banking relations between the headquarters and other banks in 46 states for over 300 consumer finance branches.
